Stick and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me! I'm rubber, you're glue, whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you. Many of us can remember saying or hearing these statements as children. It sounded good, but it was a lie. Sticks and stones do hurt and we aren't really made out of rubber. Our nation is riddled with problems. While we love our country, many of us are disappointed with the direction things have going morally as well as socially, politically, and economically. The real problem we have is a sin problem. Homosexuality is one of the moral issues our country is struggling. Our nation is divided on many aspects of homosexuality. What does God's word say about it? Does it actually condemn homosexuality? Are people born gay? How do you help someone caught up in it? These questions and more will be addressed in this sermon.

In the Bible we have a few conversations recorded involving the devil. One was with Adam and Eve, one was with God, and one was with Jesus during His life on earth. Through these conversations we gain unique insight into the way the devil thinks and works. We also gain insight into ourselves and the situations we face in life. This lesson helps us better prepare for facing our own conversation with the devil with faith and courage.
